Meet safely

Discretion never replaces good judgment.

No review process can remove every risk. Use these habits before, during, and after every first meeting.

Before

Plan on your terms.

  • Meet in a staffed public place you know or can verify.
  • Tell a trusted person the venue, time, and profile name.
  • Use your own transport both ways.
  • Keep your home, workplace, and financial details private.
  • Have a video call first when that helps you feel comfortable.
During

Stay in control.

  • Keep your phone charged and within reach.
  • Watch your drink and limit alcohol.
  • Do not move to a private location under pressure.
  • Honor boundaries and expect the same in return.
  • Leave immediately if anything feels wrong.
After

Protect your privacy.

  • Share only the personal details you choose.
  • Block unwanted contact without explanation.
  • Save relevant messages if conduct concerns you.
  • Report threats, coercion, fraud, or impersonation.
  • Contact local authorities when a crime may have occurred.

Pause when you notice

Pressure, inconsistency, and money demands.

Requests for gift cards, crypto, wire transfers, bank access, account codes, or review fees.

A sudden emergency paired with pressure to send funds immediately.

Refusal to speak by phone or video while pushing for private details.

Conflicting names, photos, jobs, locations, or life stories.

Pressure for sex, secrecy, intoxication, travel, or a private first venue.

Threats, insults, stalking, blackmail, or attempts to isolate you.
